Returns for Damaged or Problematic Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please email us promptly at hello@hauteglobetrot.com within 7 days of delivery, including:

✔ Your order number
✔ Clear photos showing the issue

We’ll personally review your request and swiftly offer a solution, which may include:

  • A replacement or full refund

  • A prepaid return label—or, if easier, allowing you to keep or gift the item

Timely notifications help us:

  • Improve our sizing accuracy and online product details

  • Maintain high-quality standards by reviewing and potentially removing problematic items or vendors

Your trust matters more to us than any single sale.


Returns Due to Personal Preference

For returns based solely on personal preference—such as color, fit (assuming the item matches the listed sizing), or style—you’ll simply cover the cost of return shipping. To make this easier, every boxed order thoughtfully includes a convenient return bag.

Return Conditions (Clarified)

Approved returns must be:

Unworn, unused, and in original packaging (or provided return bag)

✔ Shipped back within:

  • 14 days from receiving your order (for preference-based returns shipped independently)

  • 14 days from receiving our prepaid return label (if your return qualifies for prepaid shipping)

  • 14 days from our notification if your return request was pending review

If our reply was delayed, your return window will extend to 14 days from our response.

Refunds are typically issued within 5–7 business days after inspection.


Exchanges

To streamline your experience, we recommend returning the original item and placing a new order for your preferred size or style.


Non-Returnable Custom & Oversized Items

Due to their custom nature and size, certain items are not eligible for return, including:

  • Custom couture jackets (such as Kente jackets supporting local communities)

  • Oversized furniture items (such as our handcrafted Riad Chair)

International Returns & Thoughtful Shopping
